West Midlands Rail Exec have explained that there will be more weekend work taking place on the New Pineapple Road station.
Further works will be happening to complete site set up and tree removal works, this is a continuation of the work started in October. Whilst most of the work is taking place during standard working hours, Monday to Friday, 07.30am to 5.30pm, to ensure the safety of workers some work needs to take place on weekends and at night-time.
Out of hours work for the new station will be taking place on the following weekends:
- Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 December
- Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 December
- Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 December
A targeted letter drop will be happening immediately.
