Mobile Household Recycling returns to Pineapple

The Mobile Household Recycling Centre will revisit Stirchley on Thursday 16th November from 7am until 12:30pm. It will be located on Pineapple Road, opposite the Church of Ascension (B30 2TL).

CAN BE RECYCLED: Recycle any household rubbish that cannot be reused; standard recycling materials that usually go in your recycling; garden waste; bigger items like toys or small household items. Batteries, lightbulbs, small electronics etc can be recycled.

NOT ACCEPTED: Building materials, white goods (like fridges), hazardous materials and larger items will not be accepted. No commercial waste can legally be accepted at any of the MHRC’s and any such material will be turned away.

Mobile recycling vans return

The Mobile Household Recycling Centre will be returning to Stirchley. On Wednesday 12th July from 7am until 12.30pm, the vans will be parked up at the back of the Morrisons car park ready to collect your excess waste.

Councillor Ward Forum meeting agenda

Councillor Mary Locke’s ward forum meeting agenda has been released. The meeting, which takes place on Tuesday 20th June, will include updates from Stuart Cross from Kier Highways and Councillor Majid Mahmood, Cabinet Member for the Environment to talk about his role and responsibilities.

The meeting takes place at 6.30pm at Stirchley Community Baths on the corner of Hazelwell Street and Bournville Lane. All those with an interest in Stirchley are welcome. Please note this is NOT a Neighbourhood Forum meeting, and the July meeting will take place as normal on Monday 10th July.

Mobile Household returns to Stirchley

The Mobile Household Recycling Centre returns to Stirchley on Wednesday 31st May from 7am – 12.45pm (midday) on the Hazelwell Fordrough near The Hazelwell Pub.

The Mobile Household Recycling Centre will return to Stirchley, this time just off Pineapple Road near the Church of Ascension on Thursday 9th March 2023, from 7am until 12 midday.

Refuse management staff from Lifford Lane tip will be on hand to help ensure your items go in the right bins.

No commercial waste can legally be accepted at any of the MHRC’s and any such material will be turned away. Vans are accepted at the MHRC’s subject to a 10 item limitation and a legal declaration that the waste presented is not commercial in nature. As with the Bulky Waste Collection service 2 black bags equals 1 item.
