Wickes to end residential parking privileges

management agency in place called G24. This will be in place to allow customers to park (90
minutes maximum in store hours) as we see an uplift in sales due to the store being refitted
and a reduction in spaces due to the delivery entrance extending.

Residents who have enjoyed free parking on the Wickes car park have been informed that the offer will no longer be available.

In a letter left on cars today, motorists have been advised that from 25th April 2022 a new scheme will be in place where the Wickes car park will be managed by G24, as they expect an upturn in sales due to the store being refitted. Motorists will be permitted to park for up to 90 minutes in store hours, according to the letter.

Wickes planning application

1 Ash Tree Road, aka Wickes, has put in a planning application to make some changes to the outside space. The consultation is for “Alterations to car park including installation of covered trolley park, new fence, double doors and cladding to front elevation.”
